 What is library 2.0?

Library 2.0 are the websites and media tools that a library will run where users can acess information about the library and search the catalogue using the OPAC system for books or resources they are in need of.

OPAC

Short for online public access catalog. An online record system of all the librarys resources. A great way for a user to check availability of resources before heading into the library. Users can also reserve or request books.

Social Media

Most libraries have links to social media sites that help users stay connected. Some of the social media sites librarys might use are Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Instagram.
